Various news sources on the Internet are reporting that Bruce Kulick has finished his new solo album called simply BK3. Nice! Its called BK3 for the very self explanatory reason that this will be his third solo album following 2001's Audio Dog and 2003's Transformer. Both were mediocre but I think Bruce has some stuff up his sleeve for this one to make it worth checking out.

For those that are wondering what Bruce Kulick has been doing since his KISS days well the answer is plenty. Not only has he put out the two albums described above, but also he has been the lead guitarist for Grand Funk Railroad for quite sometime now. Even though you might not know it they have a very hectic touring schedule that keeps Bruce very busy on the world music scene. Also he does a ton of appearances for the KISS brand at expos and festivals.

I teased you above about the exciting things, but as always I'm going to follow through. BK3 will have many guests on it for vocals, but one of the notables is John Corabi (Motley Crue and ESP). The reason he is notable is John plays in ESP with Bruce and current KISS drummer Eric Singer, hence the "Eric Singer Project - ESP." That might seem a little anti-climatic but that was done on my part for a reason. You see the most notables on the album will be Nick and Gene Simmons. Yes Gene Simmons and his son. People say that Gene holds a grudge but it appears to me that he isn't holding much of a grudge against Bruce if he is carrying lead vocals on one of his songs and lending his son out for guitar work. Gene is about money and if he was willing to be on BK3 then he must think it's going to be good. You throw all of these elements together and you've got one hell of a record. The release date hasn't been set yet, but when it comes out you can bet the We Love Metal team will get a review up for you first thing. Life after KISS: Bruce Kulick style.
